My love for this hobby really took off in 1988 when, as a member of the Cleveland Saltwater Enthusiasts Association (CSEA), I helped develop what we now call MACNA. MASNA was then formed to co-ordinate this function. I then served as a delegate to inform members of C-SEA at our monthly meetings as to the discussions that had taken place after each BOD meeting. I now serve as C-SEA's treasurer and continue in my role as our MASNA delegate. I have also been a proud member of the MASNA Board of Directors for 4 terms. Since the Internet has become the "way of the future", we decided it was time to give our website a facelift and the convenience of being able to order our products online. Our goal is to bring you lighting, and many other aquarium products, of the highest quality and latest technology at an affordable price.

I have been in the hobby for what seems like
all of my life. Most of you old timers will remember that having a
freshwater setup with a mated pair of angelfish was the "in
thing"... you know, a piece of wax paper floating on top of the
water. I had worked for a major lighting distributor for 10 years as
a lighting designer and consultant in their aquatic division. In spring of 1998,
I embarked into a new venture as a wholesaler specializing in aquarium
lighting. Recently, we have also begun selling our products directly to
hobbyists as many don't have access to a local dealer who sells the latest,
high-tech equipment.
